We're finally en route!

So excited...we're finally on our way to New Zealand!! The excitement is a little bit mitigated by the fact that we're currently hanging out in the LA airport for 6 hours...oh well, there's lots to keep us entertained! Little Miss Sunshine was great, and I already finished my first book (Ritournelle de la faim - very good, although I think I missed about 25% due to big french words). I'm hoping that whoever finds it in the airport lounge in Vancouver will enjoy it :) We're now just waiting for the superbowl to start...we should be able to catch most of it (if not all) before our flight.
Flights (calgary- vancouver, vancouver - LA) have been smooth - and hopefully the next one will be too! The only mishap is that I packed our lunch last night to take with us, and grabbed some of mum's homemade peanut butter cookies from the freezer...only I didn't take the cookies, I actually took the un-cooked dough that she keeps, whoops...defrosted PB cookie dough wasn't so yummy!
Anyhow, we're really excited to be on our way, so I figured an 'on our way' update was required :)
